Become a Presenter!

Official call for proposals for BSES 2027!

A session workshop is 50 minutes and must be presented in person at the conference. Modes of presentation include lecture, hands-on, outdoor activity and labs.

Why Present at BSES?

Whether you’re a classroom teacher, instructional coach, university professor, researcher, or science educator, you have something worth sharing.

  • Showcase what’s working. Share a lesson, strategy, program, research project, or idea that other educators can actually use.

  • Build your professional profile. Conference presentations are a great addition to your résumé, CV, professional portfolio, or leadership record.

  • Reach educators across the Borderland. Put your work in front of teachers, campus leaders, district specialists, university faculty, and community partners from across our region.

  • Make connections beyond your campus. Meet educators and science professionals who share your interests and could become future collaborators.

  • Bring research into real classrooms. University faculty and researchers have an opportunity to connect their work directly with the teachers who can put it into practice.

  • Give great ideas a bigger audience. Something happening in one classroom, department, or campus could make a difference for students throughout the region.

  • Develop your leadership skills. Presenting gives teachers and coaches an opportunity to step into a larger professional role and be recognized for their expertise.

  • Be part of something happening right here at home. Help us build the kind of high-quality science education conference our Borderland educators would normally have to travel to attend.
