PechaKucha’s 20x20 presentation format shows your 20 chosen images, each for 20 seconds. In other words, you've got 400 seconds to tell your story, with visuals guiding the way. PechaKucha means "chit chat" in Japanese. This type of session allows you just under 7 minutes to tell your story. Presenters that select this option will be joined by other presenters sharing their story as well.
Posters presented on a topic with academic or professional focus. Participants move through a poster session area and talk to presenters about their content for a specified time. Presenters with posters will be in a location with other people presenting posters.Poster sessions provide a less formal opportunity to share work with colleagues. Presenters must be present for the duration of their scheduled poster presentation session. However, posters will be displayed for the duration of the conference.
Informal conversations on prearranged topics allowing collaboration, networking and brainstorming - multiple tables - participants move fluidly to tables based on interest and space.
Roundtable presentations typically include a 5 to 10 minute presentation by the organizer to introduce the topic, followed by discussion and feedback from participants. Roundtable presenters should bring targeted questions to pose to participants at the table in order to learn from and with those attending. The presenter is also asked to summarize and conclude on the subject at the end of the session (5 minutes). Roundtables are excellent venues for getting targeted feedback, engaging in in-depth discussions, and meeting colleagues with similar interests.
